A Safe Place to Call Home LLC is preparing structured independent housing for adults in New Castle County, Delaware. Our goal is to provide a safe, organized, furnished home for adults who are able to manage their own daily living needs independently.

Who We Serve

A Safe Place to Call Home LLC is designed for adults seeking stable, structured, shared housing in New Castle County, Delaware.

Our housing may be appropriate for adults who:

Are 18 years of age or older
Can manage their own daily living needs independently
Can prepare or arrange their own meals
Manage their own medications
Handle their own hygiene, appointments, and transportation
Are comfortable living in a shared-home environment
Can follow reasonable household and safety rules
Have a reliable and verifiable source of payment

We welcome referrals from community organizations, shelters, reentry programs, hospitals, social-service agencies, veteran organizations, and other referral partners.

Applicants are considered individually and in accordance with applicable fair-housing requirements.

What We Do Not Provide

A Safe Place to Call Home LLC provides structured independent housing, not medical or personal-care services.

We do not provide:

Nursing care
Medication administration
Medical treatment
Assisted-living services
Personal-care assistance
Transportation services
Meal preparation
24-hour clinical supervision

Residents are expected to manage their own daily living needs or arrange any outside services they require.
